Plan before selecting machines
Four decisions shape your canned beverage line
Cans define the package format. Still drinks, carbonated beverages and other products may require different preparation, filling and preservation processes.
What beverage will the line handle?
Define the composition, carbonation, acidity, fill temperature and storage or distribution requirements. Product preparation and preservation must be assessed for the actual beverage; a can does not make every drink suitable for the same process.
Which cans and ends are approved?
Provide can and end drawings, samples, materials, diameter and height. Review the matched can-end system, seaming tooling, handling guides and required format changes before selecting equipment.
What output and pack formats are needed?
Specify output for each can size, working hours, printed-can or label presentation and units per pack. Confirm the basis of the proposed speed and the capacity of all connected equipment.
How will closing quality be checked?
Agree on the double-seam inspection procedure, equipment and acceptance criteria using the approved can and end specifications. Measurements and teardown checks are part of the review; visual inspection alone is insufficient.
Production flow
Representative Canned Beverage Line
The sequence below shows a typical packaging route. Product preparation feeds the filler, while empty cans are prepared separately. Preservation, inspection and labeling are selected for the confirmed beverage and package.
Can Feeding
Depalletize and transfer approved empty cans to the preparation stage.
Can Rinsing
Prepare can interiors using the agreed rinsing or cleaning method.
Filling
Fill under the conditions specified for the actual beverage.
Double-Seaming
Apply matched ends with approved tooling and check the seam.
Treatment
Include a validated thermal process only where the product requires it.
Drying
Prepare can surfaces for coding or downstream decoration.
Coding
Apply date, batch and traceability information.
Packing
Apply labels if required, then group cans in the approved packs.
Palletizing
Stack finished packs in the agreed pallet pattern.
Pasteurization, sterilization, carbonation, nitrogen dosing and labeling are conditional process choices. Printed cans often do not need a labeler. The proposal must identify the treatment boundary and seam inspection requirements.
Explore equipment by function
Connect the equipment around your project
Use the equipment categories to review the line functions. Selection follows the confirmed product, can-end combination and output; category listings do not establish suitability for every beverage.
Container Preparation
Review empty-container feeding and preparation for your approved formats.

Can Carbonated Drink Filling Machine
Review the published can-filling equipment for a carbonated beverage project. Confirm the beverage, can and end format, filling conditions, seamer integration and required output before selecting a configuration.
Configuration review
Check the complete operating conditions
The complete specification should cover product preparation, can rinsing, filling, double-seaming, seam checks and downstream handling. Sensitive products need their own preservation and hygiene review.
Factory layout & project specification
Turn your requirements into a practical factory plan
Share your building drawing and production requirements. Planning connects equipment placement with material flow, working space, cleaning access, utilities and acceptance conditions. Include empty-container storage, finished packs and maintenance access in the review.
- Product & Process
Beverage specification, filling conditions, cleaning requirements and any required preservation process.
- Can & End Format
Approved drawings and samples, can height and diameter, end specification, decoration and pack pattern.
- Output & Utilities
Output by format, working schedule, building dimensions, power, air, drainage and any process gas, cooling or heating.
- Acceptance & Quality
Supply boundary, sample materials, seam inspection, operator training and agreed acceptance conditions.

Illustrative layout example. Your arrangement is developed around the confirmed product process, equipment scope and building.
Scope & investment
What affects the cost of your line?
A useful quotation starts with the actual product process, approved formats and equipment scope. Compare the supply boundary, utilities, change parts, inspection, site preparation and delivery responsibilities alongside the equipment price.

Buyer questions
Canned Beverage Line FAQ
Can one line fill different beverages?
Possibly, within an approved operating range. Composition, carbonation, acidity, fill temperature, hygiene and preservation requirements must be reviewed together. Similar can dimensions do not establish that the same filling process suits every beverage.
Is thermal treatment required for every canned drink?
No. The preservation process depends on the beverage, hygiene design, shelf-life objective and distribution conditions. Any proposed pasteurization or sterilization must be suitable for the actual product and package.
How is a double seam checked?
Follow the agreed inspection method and can-end supplier specifications. The review includes relevant seam measurements and teardown checks alongside visual inspection. Define inspection responsibilities, sampling and acceptance conditions before production.
Can one line handle several can sizes?
The proposed format range must be checked across filling, seaming, handling and packing. Different diameters, heights or ends may require tooling and change parts. Identify the approved sizes and changeover scope in the proposal.
